Pickup & Drop-Off
For those staying in central Edinburgh, we will be providing a bus to and from the venue. The bus will depart at 11:15am from the west side of Charlotte Square. It takes roughly 1 hour to get from the city centre to Borthwick Castle. Please aim to arrive at Charlotte Square at least 15 mins before the departure time as the bus will leave promptly.
At the end of the evening, the bus will leave Borthwick at 12.30am.
Taxis
If staying in central Edinburgh, you can book a black cab via Central Taxis or City Cabs. If you are staying closer to Borthwick, your hotel may be able to book a taxi for you. Make sure you book in advance and also pre-arrange a pick up time for the end of the evening. Public transport is not available from Borthwick Castle. Due to health and safety regulations, all non-residential guests will be required to leave the venue by 12.30am.

Below, you can find a list of hotels both in central Edinburgh and around Borthwick. There are many more hotels available in Edinburgh so please choose one that suits your own needs. We recommend staying near Charlotte Square in central Edinburgh as that is the pickup point for our wedding bus. If you choose to stay nearer Borthwick castle, please note that you will need to organise your own transport to and from the venue.
Edinburgh is a popular destination at Christmas time so we advise you to book your accommodation early!
